How do I treat burns or chemical spills on a cat's coat?
Immediate actions — first 60 seconds
1. Rinse skin and fur with cool running water for 10-15 minutes.
Wrap the cat in a towel to prevent self-grooming and ingestion of toxic chemicals. Bring the chemical container to the vet.
