How to handle an egg-bound bird or reptile?
Immediate actions — first 60 seconds
1. Place the animal in a warm (28-30C), high-humidity environment.
Do NOT attempt to press or crush the internal egg, as shell fragments cause fatal peritonitis. Transport directly to an exotic pet clinician.
